| Goals and Purposes of Cornerstone's Educational Program |
Parenting can be difficult, but when a child has learning difficulties the stress and pain is intensified. Recognizing this need, Cornerstone was formed to provide specialized instruction for children with learning differences. This program offers comprehensive academic curriculum for all grade levels as well as physical education, art, music and drama. The experienced faculty at Cornerstone desire to help each student believe they are capable of learning and reaching their full potential. |
 Instruction is structured
and multi-sensory. Appropriate compensations in all subject areas are
provided for each student. Students are placed in small classes, where skills are broken down into the
smallest possible component and directly taught. The instruction is
systematic and skills are taught until mastery is achieved. |
Our goal is to provide a
nurturing academic environment for at-risk children with learning
differences.
FOR THE STUDENT: emotional stability and learning confidence.
FOR THE PARENT: education that equips their child to realize their God given
potential.
